There are currently two different authorized sets of services, the 1662 Book of Common Prayer (BCP), and Common Worship (CW), which supplements the Book of Common Prayer with services and prayers in diverse styles. At Bridlington Priory, both forms are used regularly.
Sunday Services follow a monthly pattern as shown in this table:
| Sunday | 8:00am | 10.30am | 6.30pm | |||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | Holy Communion | BCP | Matins | BCP | Evensong | BCP |
| 2nd | Holy Communion | BCP | Sung Eucharist | CW | Evensong | BCP |
| 3rd | Holy Communion | BCP | Family Service | Sung Eucharist | CW | |
| 4th | Holy Communion | BCP | Parish Communion | CW | Choral Evensong | BCP |
| 5th | Holy Communion | BCP | Matins | BCP | Evening Service | |
Each CW service includes Prayers for Healing, lasting for about 20 minutes. It usually starts with a Bible Reading and a song, then people may pray out loud or in silence for those who are sick or suffering in any way. It finishes with a song and the grace.
