Colin Walsh’s work as an organist has been rooted in various of our long established choral foundations, amongst them St George’s Chapel Windsor and Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford. He was Assistant Organist of Salisbury Cathedral and Organist at St Albans and Lincoln Cathedrals. Since January 2003 he has been Organist Laureate of Lincoln Cathedral, presiding over the fine Father Willis organ there and regularly accompanying services. He is highly regarded as a recitalist of international repute. In 2006 he toured Australia and New Zealand and recent appearances have included the City of London Festival, the Southern Cathedrals Festival, the Lahti Organ Festival and recitals in Cologne Cathedral, the Svetlanov Hall in Moscow and Notre Dame de Paris. His recordings on the Priory, Guild and Cantoris labels have met with huge critical acclaim.
